The cuddliest and sweetest girl! Her squishy face will melt your heart! She’s tiny but has plenty of personality! She loves her new wheelchair as she can finally stretch her back and cruise at full speed. She also LOVES to go for walks in her stroller and check out the neighborhood. She does not like cats per say, but has been living with one and has learned to leave it alone since being in foster thanks to some training. Good with kids and dogs!
She wears adorable cloth diapers that keep her diaper rash at bay, but does have weekly bandage changes on her legs for the time being to fight off a nasty infection. We are rocking a cone right now as well for infections on her front feet. She doesn’t complain about any of these circumstances, she just wants to lay out in the sun or on your lap and enjoy life! As her foster we have gotten into such a routine with her care it’s almost nothing to us now, she’s so easy for a paralyzed girl!
She loves to sleep in her crate at night, takes her meds in her special food (Honest Kitchen mixed with kibble) without needing to pill her, and holds still when it’s time to change diapers and toe wraps. She is one of the best dogs out there, anyone who adopts this one is in for a treat.
RoxyAnn is susceptible to sores on her legs. She is healing now and will have scars. Her adoptive home should be prepared to recognize the start of the sores and be able to clean them so they do not get infected. She will come with all her items – diapers and covers, stroller, cart, Flufftrough, crate, bed – this girl has enough to furnish a one bedroom condo!
This girl has come a long way. As the sweetest little thing who has battled so much, she deserves a Happily Ever After. Is that you? To apply for RoxyAnn, please be sure you have an application on file. Then send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org explaining why you are the best fit for RoxyAnn.
